About the conference
In my opinion, Web Summer Camp is one of the best conferences around. The focus was on community and learning — you hardly get the chance to talk to that many people at a conference and share ideas.
Second, all the speakers were approachable. You could talk to them, discuss your ideas, share and opinion, etc. In fact, speakers and instructors attended other talks and workshops. I haven’t seen much community building and collaboration at many conferences.
Third, the location was amazing. The Hotel Ambassador and the city of Opatija had sunny weather with beaches all around. Most importantly, the food for all three days was amazing.
About our workshop
We got mostly positive feedback that this workshop was highly interactive and that the instructors were helpful. However, as instructors, we also learned a few things — the flow of the content, showing less on the screen, and making exercises easier on purpose so the message lands better.
